The structure has been customized by a variety of not-for-profit experts "to tackle the moral considerations and conscientious utilization of artificial intelligence in the fundraising field".

Established in 2020, Fundraising.AI is an initiative driven by its members. Throughout the previous year, a collective of more than 90 influential thinkers and specialists in various fields have dedicated countless hours in developing the Framework. It was a shared understanding among them that guaranteeing the responsible utilization of the potent artificial intelligence tools already available to fundraisers is of utmost importance.

The Structure puts a strong focus on long-lasting fundraising, and the Fundraising.AI project itself is not biased towards any brand and stands on its own. It is widely acknowledged that charities' adoption of artificial intelligence must protect the valuable trust that the public has earned for the nonprofit industry.

Building Ethical AI For Successful Fundraising

The Framework has been created in accordance with established international AI principles and exemplary methods for non-profit organizations.

This platform is specifically created to assist professionals working in nonprofit organizations, social welfare groups, consulting companies, and technology firms. It aims to provide these individuals with a detailed guide to effectively and ethically utilize AI for fundraising purposes.

He stated:

Creating an accountable AI structure for fundraising that safeguards and emphasizes trust is the most crucial mission for today's nonprofit organizations. This framework successfully addresses a key deficiency in the nonprofit sector by offering fundraisers, consulting companies, and technology providers explicit benchmarks and values for responsibly utilizing AI technology.

Fundraising.AI extends an invitation to experts, corporations, and individuals involved in the not-for-profit industry to delve into the Framework and become part of the initiative promoting the prudent utilization of AI in the fundraising domain. Chappell elaborates:

Fundraising.AI endeavors to promote the ethical and efficient utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to propel charitable missions, emphasizing the importance of collaborative learning, research, and the sharing of best practices.
