The collaboration intends to discover a proficient and powerful strategy for combining manned and unmanned teams to assist global military users.

As per Shield AI, an AI-native system has the ability to manage unmanned aerial vehicles and conduct missions even when there is an absence of mode of communication or GPS capability.

This method focuses on fulfilling the needs of combating new and unforeseen dangers concerning unmanned aerial vehicles, as witnessed in the current hostilities taking place in Ukraine.

According to Brandon Tseng, the President and Co-Founder of Shield AI, Ukraine is facing a significant loss of around 10,000 drones every month due to Russian electronic warfare. The primary reason behind this is the Russian tactic of interrupting communications and GPS signals.

If a drone does not have the capability to function without GPS and communication, it will be of little value in upcoming battles.

Combining an affordable and impressive uncrewed jet aircraft such as the XQ-58 with our advanced AI pilot can revolutionize the way we approach strategic deterrence.

New Hybrid Solution For Marketing

According to Shield AI, their AI drone pilot technology is fully equipped to handle various systems such as quadcopters, a customized F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jet, and Shield AI's specialized V-BAT tactical drone. This advanced technology has been thoroughly tested and proven to be fit for combat.

The Shield AI-Kratos group aims to provide the defense market with aircraft that collaborates between humans and machines by leveraging the AI pilot and Valkyrie's significant performance abilities. This partnership puts the team in an exceptional place to deliver these aircraft.

Ryan Tseng, CEO and Co-founder of Shield AI, revealed that the Valkyrie belongs to a small group of unmanned jet planes, currently in production and all set for implementation of AI piloting.

The XQ-58's strong integration and connection to Kratos will allow for the creation of smart unmanned jets at a faster pace than expected, which will surprise many individuals.

Eventually, the jets without crews will be controlled by our artificial intelligence pilots. However, I cannot come up with a more suitable jet without a crew to start with than the Valkyrie.
