Grimes Tweets That Elon Musk Won't Let Her See Their Son

Elon Musk, the wealthy and unpredictable individual whose recent actions allegedly include obstructing the Ukrainian military, seems to be embroiled in a new conflict much closer to home. Grimes, a former romantic partner of Musk's, asserted on X (previously known as Twitter), a social media platform owned by Musk, that he refuses to let her see one of their shared children. Moreover, Grimes hinted that another person who was co-parenting with Musk was also unwilling to communicate with her. However, Grimes ultimately deleted the post from the platform.

Just like many recent news pieces about Musk (like his feud with Zuckerberg), biographer Walter Isaacson is involved once again. The situation started when Isaacson posted a picture of Musk with Shivon Zilis, a mother and employee who has two children with him (and they all seem to have a family resemblance).

The kids were born in November 2021, only a few weeks before Grimes and Elon Musk's daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, arrived. Grimes talked about their relationship and Exa's birth in an interview with Vanity Fair a couple of months after giving birth. Although she refers to Musk as her boyfriend, they have an open relationship and live in different homes. They maintain a close friendship while still having their own unique lifestyles that may not be readily understood by others.

After the interview, the flexibility between them came to a stop, and Grimes shared on Twitter in March 2022 that Musk is her "closest pal and the person she loves the most." Nevertheless, she explained that they had ended things for good.

Exa, the couple's second child, was born through a surrogate, after their son X Æ A-12 was born in May 2020. However, despite having two children together, it seems that Grimes' amicable relationship with Musk has deteriorated, which could have been brewing for some time now.

There is evidence that suggests that Grimes may have written a response to Isaacson's tweet, which he later deleted. Isaacson's tweet was promoting a preview of his upcoming biography on Musk that was published by Time. Grimes' response was to request that Shivon, who had blocked her, be asked to unblock her. Additionally, she asked Elon, presumably Elon Musk, to allow her to see her child or to respond to her attorney.

Zilis shared a picture of Musk with their children, which was a first for the person who posted on Twitter. The situation had deeply divided the individual's family. However, the tweet was removed, but it was captured and disseminated by various publications including Jezebel.

Musk has fathered at least nine children with at least three women (although, as TechCrunch points out, those are just the ones he or his associates have openly discussed). However, the tweet that has since disappeared is just the most recent sign that everything is not okay with Musk's family. In another article by Isaacson, Musk revealed that he is no longer in contact with his 19-year-old daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson, allegedly because she has been infected with a "woke mind virus" that includes disapproval of extreme wealth.

It is important to mention that Wilson identifies as transgender, while Musk has expressed strong disapproval towards transgender individuals by calling the term "cisgender" a derogatory term. This might explain why Musk claims to have reached out to Wilson multiple times, but she shows no interest in spending time with him.
