The Consumer Product Safety Product Commission (CPSC) reported that Zuru, a company that creates, produces, and advertises toys and other goods, decided to withdraw 6.5 million big Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing & Swim Bath Toys and 1 million small Robo Alive Junior Mini Baby Shark Swimming Bath Toys due to potential hazards.

The items were for sale separately or in groups of three. They were additionally obtainable in the shades of yellow, pink, and blue.

The CPSC warned that if a child uses the bath toys that have been recalled, especially in a bathtub or wading pool, they could potentially fall or slip. Moreover, the hard plastic top fin of the shark could be harmful if a child sits on it.

Epoch Everlasting Play has issued a recall for over 3.2 million toys on account of them posing a choking risk. The recall follows reports of two deaths associated with the toys.

Before the recall, the company received information about twelve instances where kids either fell onto or sat on the full-sized "Baby Shark" bath toy. So far, there have been no recorded accidents or harm associated with the smaller shark toys.

According to the CPSC, children have been injured by impalement, cuts, and punctures resulting from the use of this product. The injuries occurred to sensitive areas such as the genitals, anus, and face.

According to safety regulators, nine of the kids required medical attention or had to get stitches.

Disney-inspired toys Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, and other figurines have been recalled because they pose a risk of choking.

Authorities advised people to cease utilizing the recalled playthings without hesitation and to get in touch with the manufacturer for a complete reimbursement.

The items that were withdrawn from the market were vended at various widespread establishments like Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Dollar General, Family Dollar Services, HEB Grocery Company, Meijer, Target, TJX Companies, Ross and Walgreens. Additionally, they were also obtainable via certain internet marketplaces such as Amazon, Target and Walmart.
