Shadow Minister for Fisheries, Forestry, and the Environment, Jonathon Duniam, suggests that the Labor party's left-wing faction, which is driven by ideology and dismissive of scientific evidence, seems determined to surpass the Greens in terms of environmental initiatives.

Mr. Duniam expressed that their aim is to prioritize gaining votes from inner-city areas, even if it means disregarding regional economies and well-established sustainable industries such as forestry.
