Honda recalling 1.3 million vehicles in North America for rear camera issue
Honda has issued a recall of around 1.3 million cars in North America because there may be a problem with the camera that shows the driver what is behind them. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) informed the public of this issue on Friday.
The product recall applies to particular models of vans and SUVs made between 2018 and 2023, including the Odyssey, Pilot, and Passport vehicles produced from 2019 to 2022 and 2019 to 2023. The rearview camera image may fail to display on the screen due to a defective communication coaxial cable connector.
Honda has announced that they will recall a total of 1.2 million vehicles in the United States, along with 88,000 in Canada and 16,000 in Mexico.
