Jeff Bezos asked his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez to marry him. They've been dating for four years.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, 59, and journalist Lauren Sanchez, 53, are in the South of France for the Cannes Film Festival. They got engaged, according to Page Six on May 22.

People magazine confirmed the engagement rumor from a source. The couple, Bezos and Sanchez, were on vacation on his $500 million yacht called Koru. The yacht has a wooden figure that resembles Sanchez on the front.

Bezos and Sanchez started rumours about their engagement. They did this when Sanchez wore a big diamond ring on a yacht. She used to co-host a show called Good Day LA.

Bezos and Sanchez made their relationship public in January 2019. Both were previously married before. The Amazon CEO divorced his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, in 2019 after being married for 25 years. They have three sons and a daughter together.

Sanchez was married to Patrick Whitesell. She has her own kids too. She has a son called Nikko. Nikko's father is Tony Gonzalez, a former NFL star. She has two more kids with her ex-husband. They are named Evan and Eleanor.

Bezos and Sanchez haven't confirmed their engagement yet.
