Presently, the construction of Carnival Jubilee advances to its subsequent stage alongside the shipyard's finishing dock. During the forthcoming weekend, Carnival Jubilee will temporarily detach from the pier to carry out diverse examinations on the front propellers and stabilizers. Maritime evaluations are planned for the month of November.

Carnival’s latest vessel belongs to its innovative Excel category and will present remarkable attractions that are already impressing guests on its sister ships Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration. This includes the latest version of the first roller coaster at sea, BOLT: The Ultimate Seacoaster. The ship boasts six lively areas, two of which are exclusively designed to honor the sea, offering a wide range of dining, beverage, and entertainment choices.

The boat will voyage all year round on journeys in the Western Caribbean starting in late December – though it shall not be the initial Carnival Jubilee to depart from Galveston. Similar to her siblings, the vessel bears the same name as a traditional Carnival ship, and the original Carnival Jubilee set sail from Galveston in 2002. The fresh Carnival Jubilee is quadruple the size of its forerunner.
