On July 22, the brand new construction measuring 344.5 meters in length emerged from the enclosed construction dock at Meyer Werft in Papenburg.

According to a statement from Carnival Cruise Line, a significant aspect of the ship's design came to light during its float out: a Lone Star symbol showcased on the front.

Carnival Cruise Line expressed its dedication to the Port of Galveston through the prominent Texas star displayed on Carnival Jubilee's bow.

Currently, the Carnival Jubilee is progressing to the subsequent stage of its construction, adjacent to the shipyard's finalization dock.

During the weekend, Carnival Jubilee will temporarily depart from the pier to perform different examinations on the bow thrusters and stabilizers, while trials at sea are planned for November, as stated by Carnival Cruise Line.

The boat will embark on Western Caribbean routes throughout the year starting in late December – although this particular Carnival Jubilee will not be the initial one to set sail from Galveston.

Similar to her siblings, the vessel bears the same name as a renowned Carnival ship, and the inaugural voyage of the Carnival Jubilee commenced from Galveston in the year 2002.

The brand-new Carnival Jubilee is four times bigger than its former model.

The ship manufacturer located in Papenburg initiated the construction of this ship fueled by LNG in March of the previous year and conducted a ceremony for the placement of the ship's keel in July.

In the final month of last year, Meyer Werft postponed the shipment of the LNG-fueled ship for approximately two months owing to challenges in the supply chain logistics and correlated issues.

The ship belongs to Carnival's Excel-class design, which was initially produced by the Meyer Turku shipyard located in Finland.

Meyer Turku successfully completed the construction of Mardi Gras in the year 2020, and subsequently handed over the Carnival Celebration in 2022.
