Refreshed Carnival Ship Sails Europe For Summer

Carnival Pride got renovated in Cadiz, Spain. They have new stuff like places to hang out and eat. It also has new paint on the hull. Now it's back in service for the summer in Europe.

On May 28, 2023, the ship took its first guests after some renovation in Barcelona. They started a 12-night one-way cruise from Spain to Dover, England. The ship will stay in Dover for the majority of the summer season.

Carnival Pride Is Back In Action

Carnival Pride is back in service after some improvements. The ship is 21 years old and got upgrades. It was in dry dock from April 28. It's a ship you can be proud of.

Christine Duffy, the head of Carnival Cruise Line, expressed her pride for the team who worked hard to refresh and improve the Carnival Pride for its Europe sailings. They did an amazing job and she is proud of their efforts.

The place has made some improvements. There is now a new Heroes Tribute Bar. The Dreams Studio is also new. It offers portrait packages. The Carnival Adventures Shop has opened too. You can buy cruise line merchandise there. Another upgrade is the Chef's Table. It's an exclusive dining experience.

Carnival Cruise Line values Heroes Tribute Bar. They sail more veterans than other cruise lines. Carnival Cruise Line makes special efforts to welcome and celebrate all service members.

Duffy said they are happy to have the Heroes Tribute bar. It is popular with guests. Military service members and their families like it too.

The steakhouse on the ship, which used to be called David's, has undergone changes. It's now called Fahrenheit 555, a name that guests may recognize from other Carnival ships. It's been well-liked by those who are loyal to Carnival.

The casino on the ship is bigger now. The spa is now called the Cloud 9 Spa and Fitness Center. It has new machines and health programs.

They've done some housekeeping work on the ship. They refreshed the public areas and staterooms. They also removed part of the ship's disco. They replaced it with more accessible staterooms.

Duffy said they're pleased the ship welcomes everyone, including those with disabilities. The ship has been made accessible for them and the work is now complete.

Carnival Pride was created in 2002 and was upgraded in 2019. The ship can hold over 2,100 guests or up to almost 2,700 when completely booked.

The ship got an upgrade and will sail in Europe until the end of October. The first trips will be from Dover with 9- and 12-night roundtrips. The trips will go to Norway, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, and more. They start from now until September 1.

The ship will leave Dover on September 10, 2023. The destination is Rome (Civitavecchia). The voyage is one-way. The ship will stop at ports in Spain and Portugal along the way.

Carnival Pride will sail three round-trips from Rome. Then, it will move to Tampa on October 28, 2023. The ship will stop in Spain, Portugal, and the Turks and Caicos during a one-way cruise. The cruise will end in Tampa on November 12.

Carnival Pride stays in Tampa for Western Caribbean and Panama Canal cruises till mid-April 2024. After that, it moves to Baltimore for Eastern Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda, and Greenland/Canada sailings, depending on the departure date and itinerary length.
