Grimes and Elon Musk Have a Third Child, New Biography Reveals

Elon Musk

The vocalist made a plea to her ex-partner asking to be allowed to visit their child in a post that has been taken down.

A recent biography on Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson reveals that he and Grimes have welcomed their third child into the world and named him Techno Mechanicus. The child, who has been affectionately nicknamed Tau, was kept under wraps until now by the former couple.

This isn't the initial instance when they've chosen to keep their kids out of the public eye. The ex-couple, who announced their relationship at the Met Gala in 2018, had a child through a surrogate last December in complete secrecy. Their daughter has a full name, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, but they refer to her as "Y" to match her older brother, who goes by the nickname "X" and was born in 2020. Reports surfaced in September 2021 that the up-and-down couple had split.

According to a report in The New York Times about Isaacson's biography of Musk, Grimes describes Musk's aggressive behavior as "demon mode," which leads to a great deal of disorder.

Musk has produced offspring with three different partners, resulting in a total of nine children. Shivon Zilis, who holds an executive position at Neuralink - Musk's company, is one of these partners. She gave birth to twins in 2021 after Musk agreed to donate his sperm so that the offspring would bear his genetic makeup. Zilis stated that Musk's goal was to have smart people raise and pass on his genes. Grimes and Musk were expecting their second child at the time Zilis gave birth to the twins, and rumors suggest that Grimes was not aware of Musk's paternity until after the event.

Recently, Grimes allegedly wrote a response to a tweet from Isaacson on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, which has since been deleted. In the tweet, Isaacson seemingly confirmed that Grimes was not aware of her twin's existence and was being prevented from seeing one of her children.

She wrote that Shivon should undo the block on her and request Elon to allow her to meet her son. If not, she requested a response from her lawyer. The situation has caused a significant rift in her family, and she has never seen any pictures of the kids until now.

During the month of June, Grimes collaborated with Anyma, a project that resulted in the creation of "Welcome to the Opera." Prior to this, she put out an invitation to fellow artists to use her voice on AI-generated tracks. She stated that she was willing to split the 50% royalties of any success achieved from the use of her voice on such tracks.
