Mark Zuckerberg has downplayed the notion that his speculated combat inside a confined enclosure with Elon Musk is nearing completion.

The owner of Meta expressed on his social networking site, Threads, that none of Mr. Musk's proposed strategies had been officially confirmed, and he expressed skepticism by saying, "I'm not overly optimistic."

Elon Musk, the creator of the social media platform X (previously known as Twitter), seemed to hint previously that the battle would take place in a magnificent setting in Italy.

He described different choices for live broadcasting and a historic backdrop for the planned occasion, stating that he had conversed with the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni.

The competing technology leaders appeared to have agreed to engage in a physical confrontation in June when Mr. Musk posted on Twitter that he was ready for a fight inside a cage with Mr. Zuckerberg. The latter responded by requesting Mr. Musk to provide him with the specific location for the encounter.

Mark Zuckerberg denies Elon Musk's assertions of a colossal showdown at the Colosseum.

according to Musk, the Prime Minister of Italy and the Minister of Culture have come to a consensus on a breathtaking setting

According to a Threads post, Zuckerberg suggested that it is better to regard anything mentioned by Elon Musk as not yet finalized, since both wealthy individuals are currently working on ironing out the specific aspects of their disagreement.

In a recent announcement shared on X platform last Friday, Mr Musk expressed that he and Zuck's foundations will take charge of organizing this battle (not UFC). The livestream of the event will be available on this specific platform and Meta.

The entire content within the camera's view will represent ancient Rome, without any trace of modernity whatsoever.

I had a conversation with the Prime Minister of Italy and the Minister of Culture. They have reached a consensus regarding an extraordinary setting.

According to Mr. Musk, the occasion will "honor the history and present state of Italy" and all the funds raised will be donated to support veterans.

Addressing the allegations, Mr. Zuckerberg expressed on Threads: 'I have a great fondness for this activity and I have been prepared to engage in conflict ever since Elon presented me with the challenge.

In case there comes a time when he finally confirms a specific date, be assured that I will inform you promptly. However, until such confirmation is made, please consider any statements he makes as not officially agreed upon.

I'm not counting on Elon to come through, but I'll provide information about my upcoming battle when I feel prepared.

When I participate in competitions, I aim to showcase the exceptional athletes who excel in their respective sports.

When we compare Musk and Zuckerberg, we can see that Musk has a physical size advantage over Zuckerberg, but he is also 11 years older.

Musk has been undergoing training sessions with renowned UFC icon Georges St Pierre (wearing red shorts) in the past few weeks.

Zuckerberg has been practicing alongside esteemed UFC fighters Israel Adesanya (on the left) and Alexander Volkanovski (on the right).

This can be achieved by collaborating with esteemed organizations such as the UFC or ONE, to successfully execute the task and curate an exceptional lineup.

There has been a lot of animosity between the two tech moguls' enterprises following the release of Threads, a chat application centered around text, by Meta in the month of July.

Twitter issued a legal notice to Mr. Zuckerberg following Meta's release, alleging that Meta had engaged in 'illegitimate misappropriation of Twitter's classified information and other intangible assets'.

The ex-prime minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, expressed his opinion on the possible fight, stating that he would support Mr. Musk and implying that it would be even more significant than the iconic match known as the "Rumble in the Jungle" which took place in 1974 between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.

In his column for the Daily Mail, the author talks about a potential showdown between Musk and Zuckerberg. Drawing a parallel with an ancient Greek sport, he suggests a Cumberland wrestling pankration as the challenge for the victor. Additionally, he proposes that the winner should be awarded half of the other person's yearly earnings as the prize money.
