A lady claimed that two individuals were removed from an Air Canada flight because of their dissatisfaction with the seats. Susan Benson posted on Facebook stating that when the passengers got on the flight, they discovered seats smeared with vomit. Two Air Canada passengers were accompanied by security personnel off the aircraft as they declined to occupy a seat that had been contaminated with vomit, according to a female passenger seated in the row behind them, who shared her account on social media.

On August 29, Susan Benson shared a post on Facebook, recounting her observation of three individuals, two women and one man, encountering difficulty while trying to find their seats on a flight from Las Vegas to Montreal. According to Benson's post, she became aware of a slightly unpleasant odor, although she hadn't identified its source at that point.

According to her, she quickly discovered that someone had vomited on the previous journey.

"Air Canada made an effort to rapidly tidy up before allowing passengers on board, but it was evident that they couldn't manage a comprehensive cleaning," her statement indicated. "They positioned coffee grounds inside the seat pocket and applied fragrance to disguise the odor."

Insider's request for a comment from Benson remained unanswered during non-business hours.

Air Canada stated that they have established communication with the two passengers.

A representative from our organization informed Insider on Tuesday that we are conducting an internal assessment of this significant issue. We have also reached out directly to the affected customers, since our established protocols were not adhered to properly in this particular case. Our actions involve extending our apologies to these customers, as it is evident that they did not receive the expected level of attention they deserved, and addressing the matters they raised.

Benson indicated that the individuals positioned ahead of him informed the Air Canada stewardess about the presence of some unwanted substance on their seat. However, Benson claimed that the staff member informed the passengers that the flight was at maximum capacity and there were no alternative options available.

Benson's post further stated that the flight attendant expressed sincere apologies but clarified that the flight was at maximum capacity, leaving no options for alternate arrangements. The passengers adamantly stated that it was unreasonable to endure sitting amidst vomit for the entire duration of the five-hour flight.

Benson recounted that the flight attendant came back accompanied by a manager, who reiterated to the passengers the exact same information: the flight was entirely occupied, and there were no available seats. As time passed, according to Benson, the airline representatives provided them with blankets to place on the seats and additional wipes to sanitize them.

According to Benson, once the passengers had become comfortable, the pilot made his way down the aisle and calmly knelt to inform the two women that they were faced with a decision. They could voluntarily exit the aircraft and arrange their own flights at their own expense, or they would be accompanied off the plane by security personnel and added to a list of individuals prohibited from flying. This stern action was taken due to their disrespectful behavior towards the flight attendant.

According to Benson, the individual sitting beside the two ladies intervened and informed the pilot that they were not acting impolite. As per Benson's account, the pilot then proceeded to return to the cockpit while security personnel accompanied the women out of the aircraft.

Benson mentioned that she raised her concerns with Air Canada and shared details of the incident on their various social networking platforms.

"I honestly don't know whether they were genuinely added to the list of individuals not allowed to fly or not. These two women constantly occupy my thoughts," Benson expressed in her blog entry. "They didn't commit any wrongdoing."
