Changes have been made to the traffic flow on Longs Peak Avenue, with both eastbound and westbound lanes now located adjacent to each other on the southern side of the road between Sunset Street and the entrance to the Sunset Golf Course. As a result, access to Price Park is currently unavailable, and parking in the Sunset Golf Course and Pool parking lot will be limited until the following spring. Despite these adjustments, recreational facilities such as Sunset Park, Sunset Pool, and Sunset Golf Course are expected to remain open throughout the construction period. Although two-way traffic is still allowed, the existing westbound lane is projected to remain closed, and the new traffic arrangement will persist until the project's completion in the spring.

Additionally, there will be 24-hour single lane closures with traffic signals in place. To avoid any potential delays or traffic congestion, it is recommended to use alternative routes along U.S. 36. The entire project is expected to be finished by November.
