On Thursday, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission declared that 7.5 million Baby Shark toys were being recalled because there is a possibility of children getting hurt.

The organization declared that two types of toys called "Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing & Swim Bath Toys (Full-Size)" and "Robo Alive Junior Mini Baby Shark Swimming Bath Toys (Mini-Size)" have been recalled.

The announcement reveals that children could experience slipping or falling when utilizing the product, especially when placed in a bath or shallow pool. Additionally, they could sit on the rigid plastic dorsal fin of the toy shark, which can result in serious injuries such as stabbing, cutting, or piercing.

The playthings were available for purchase in a trio of shades: yellow, pink, and blue.

The company advised consumers to discontinue use of the recalled bath toys promptly and get in touch with Zuru to claim a complete reimbursement of $14 for every larger toy or $6 for smaller toys. According to the announcement, the refunds will be given in the shape of a virtual prepaid Mastercard.
